Art Documentation

What is Art Documentation? It is essentially product photography, with the emphasis that the product is an art piece. From paintings to jewelry to woodcarving to pottery - the idea is to document a piece for portfolios, advertising, and more.

I first started Art Documentation for my mom, who is a painter. I was helping her put together photographic examples of her work. I realized how technical this form of photography can get, and loved every minute of it!

I’ve since expanded on the forms of art I have photographed and branched out in the style of how I do it. As I am working with artisans, they quite often bring exciting and different ideas of how to portray their work!
